The Studio. A Multi-Purpose Space
What's In The Studio?
In August 2007, the society moved into its architect-designed new home. You can find out more about our history here.
In the Studio, members can enjoy a packed programme of groups in all disciplines, lectures and talks, workshops and exhibitions, all in a safe, secure and accessible environment.
Designed to include a library of art manuals and magazines, and a members’ picture framing service, it also provides disabled-access and it has the bonus of a small car park too.

Attend a workshop in our beautiful, purpose-built studio.
Discover how to create a variety of artistic pieces. Learn how to draw, paint and craft using pencils, paints, oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, charcoal, fabircs, mixed media and more!
Enjoyable Exhibitions
A chance to show your work to our members or just pop along to enjoy browsing the artworks on display!
Exhibitions are held on a rotational, monthly basis, overseen by the workshop leader when the paintings are on display in the Studio.
We also host outdoor exhibitions too, so there’s exhibitions for you to enjoy throughout the year. Barely a month goes by without something extra being arranged.

When: 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month (excluding August) from 10am to noon.
A committee representative is always present and it’s a chance for members to hear about future plans and upcoming events.
