Member Glyn Ward recently held a very successful exhibition at Lytham’s Heritage
centre. His large acrylic paintings impressed visitors and he sold five and was
commissioned to paint two more.
Glyn studied at art college in Yorkshire before embarking on a career in the media as
a newspaper, magazine and commercial photographer. Crossing the border into
Lancashire, he still worked as a photographer and joined Lytham St Annes Art
Society as he made the transition to become a full-time artist.
His studio is on a canal boat which he shares with his partner and two St Bernard
dogs.
