Useful Information

We try hard to keep everyone informed about our events using in-house flyers on the noticeboard, digitally via websites and our Facebook page and by word of mouth.

Lytham St Annes Art Society

Be In The Know

Each year we provide information via:

  • This website which is regularly updated
  • Our Membership Programme Card
  • Our informative Newsletter which is published in Spring, Summer & Winter
  • Our publicity leaflet & flyers which we deliver to hotels, cafes & other outlets throughout Lytham St Annes
  • Guidance to workshop members from their leaders
  • E-mail announcements & updates
  • We are currently working on a Workshop Leader’s handbook
  • Discover Fylde website

We offer a lot of events and activities, as you can see, but it wouldn’t happen without your help.

We are all volunteers and none of these events could go ahead without the support of helpers – many behind the scenes – who do such sterling work. The committee is very grateful for the support it gets from workshop leaders and members.

If you are able to, please get involved, volunteering can be very rewarding.

Very many thanks from the committee for your past and continuing support

A Year In The Life Of The Studio

The Studio has been getting back to normal after almost two years of Covid lockdown and then restricted opening.

We are all delighted to be able once again meet long-standing friends and fellow artists in the thriving workshops.

Wnat to know more?  Click the box below to find out:

The Pandemic Year

During the enforced break, your committee was not able to organise the wide-range of activities that the Society is renowned for.

We are now working hard to plan many of the events that we all enjoyed up until 2019.

Events Return

The most recent example of an event that has returned is the hugely successful Spring Arts and Craft Fair which was held on May 14 in Ansdell Institute.

Our regular Spring Exhibition venue was closed to us, and various options were investigated.

Our Centenary Year

The return to Ansdell for our delayed 100th Anniversary Year was certainly the right choice.

There were 17 members exhibiting in what was a lively and busy atmosphere with great support from Art Society members. Everyone sold and we even made a small profit for Society funds.

The Future Is Bright

Our dedicated team of volunteers have begun to arrange our ‘monthly’ schedule of activities and we are hoping to reinstate some of the social events marked with an asterisk (*) above, which were always held prior to the Covid-19 lockdown.
